Description:
Actalent is looking to hire an experienced Technical Writer for a client in the Newberg area!
This person will partner with different engineering departments to help develop documentation to align with company processes and validate the information contained within the documents. This person will create, develop and plan operational, instructional and procedural processes in relation to manufacturing. Part of this role will require the research and translation of technical information into manuals that can be interpreted by technical and non-technical users.
This person should be comfortable utilizing Illustrator/Photoshop and have the ability to interpret engineering drawings, schematics and P&ID's. Microsoft Office experience is required with a high level understanding of Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Experience within MS D365 and INFOR LN is a plus.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
-BS in Technical Writing or Communication or equivalent years of experience
-3 years of Technical Writing experience (7 years for non degreed candidates)
-Ability to be in office 3 days a week
-Familiarity with AX and Bluestar systems
